Yesterday was certainly an eventful day for Milkface. It turns out that Little One is a little girl! Linda and I had been suspecting as much, and the Vet confirmed it.
The other big news (although it pales in comparison) is that for the first time, last night, Milkface ate solid food. She didn't just eat it - she devoured it. It all started as Linda was finishing up her dinner. First, Milkface climbed up on Linda's lap and started licking at the remnants of cottage cheese. When she finished that off, she went straight over to the little pile of beef left over from "Sloppy Joe". Little One just munched it down. Linda went and got some wet catfood from the kitchen. Milkface ate all of what Linda put out for her.
This is a very big step because, sadly, this will be the last day that Milkface comes to work with me. She's 7 weeks old, and can now stay at home and eat on her own.
I'm not sure how easy it will be to continue to keep the Milkface CAM updated daily as I have been. I guess that had to end some time as well. I will certainly try to post any major advances Little One makes, and I know how much people have liked to watch her grow up, so I will do my best to add new pictures.
Oh, I guess I should mention that Milkface's first set of shots went just fine yesterday - not a single cry from her - she's so brave!
