First the medical update: Milkface's injured paw is healing quite well. If you look closely, you can see her favor it just a touch, but it certainly isn't slowing her down.
This past weekend was an exciting one for Milkface. She and her parents moved into a new house, so Little One had all kinds of new territory to check out - boxes to climb in and around. Unfortunately, her favorite place seems to be underneath the toilet. I'm not quite sure what the attraction is!
In addition to the move in, Milkface had another exciting adventure: meeting Saffron. Saffron is Matt's parent's cat. He's known around the neighborhood as "That Great White Cat". We had been a little nervous about the two of them meeting - Saffron is well known for gutting squirrels and other such animals. Milkface and Saffron had actually met before, but at the time, Milkface was barely a cat at all, so Saffron just sniffed a little and then walked away.
This time was altogether different; Saffron sniffed and then sniffed, and then licked! He licked Little One's head and paws and belly. It was so sweet. We were so proud of Saffron - no hissing, no swatting, just nice licks!
