Those sweet little kittens. They are just play play play all the time. They don't understand the responsibilities I have.
I've got to be alert for any undesirable activity in the yard.
I've got to use all my sense to sniff out intruders.
Sometimes I've got to get fierce and show my fangs to let everyone know who's boss.
That's okay. If I can shield them from this - help them enjoy their kittenhood - I take THAT responsibility with pride.
